Dr. Safvati is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of California and province of Ontario Canada. She earned her Doctorate degree from The California School of Professional Psychology in 2011 and obtained her license to practice in 2012.

 

She has extensive training in psychotherapy and assessments from Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Northridge Hospital Medical Center and Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center. Dr. Safvati was a Mental Health Services Act Fellow for Los Angeles County, and has received many awards and recognitions for her contributions to the community. 

 

Dr. Safvati is certified in several Evidenced Based Practices including Child Parent Psychotherapy, Positive Parenting Program, Managing and Adapting Practices, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr. Safvati has presented around the country on various topics in the field including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and psychodiagnostic assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
